Our team, coordinated by a grandmaster with an outstanding history in subtitle projects, is a branch of ALS.

About our Turkish team

Stream broadcasting has gained momentum mainly because of Netflix,  Disney+, FoxTV, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV,  BluTV, HBO Max and YouTube, which leads to the demand for more capacities in subtitle and metadata human translations as well as CC services, in all potential languages including Turkish and Arabic languages.

Before taking on high-tempo Disney+ and FoxTV programs in 2021, we added more high-profile Turkish translators to our Turkish multimedia team. Consequently, 3 decades of know-how has been incorporated into our team, which has proven to make a real difference. 

 
In our multimedia team, we are collaborating with 100+ active professional Turkish subtitle translators.

Based on our operations since 2002, we offer multilingual audiovisual localization services of major languages for small to large audio-visual projects.

Membership

ALS is a language service provider that is an accredited member of the Association of Translation Companies (ATC) based in the UK and therefore a network member of EUATC. 

Milestones

 2002 - Alafranga Language Solutions Ltd. (ALS) was founded by Mr. Guvenc in 2002 nearby 3rd. Notary Public in Istanbul, Turkey as a local language service provider. 

 2006 - ALS begins the transformation process to extend its presence and outreach to global markets.  

 2007 - ALS became an overseas member of the Association of Translation Companies (ATC) based in the U.K. ALS adopted ]Project Open[ in order to automate and integrate all management operations. 

 2011 - ALS service quality is audited by Bureau Veritas for certification of European Quality Standard for translation services and officially entitled to have the certificate of EN 15038:2006. 

 2012 - ALS formed a sister company, Alafranga Language Solutions FZE (ALS Int.) registered in RAK nearby Dubai in U.A.E. 

 2018 - ALS has started MTPE projects and, also extended its capacity in subtitling and video translations. In April of 2018, our EN 15038:2006 is converted to ISO:17100. 

 2020 - ALS Ltd. is closed, and ALS FZE has become the main company. ALS FZE is working for 100% international customers.

In order to branch out to subtitle and dubbing localization, Alafranga media team is formed where Mr. Kerem Keskiner is contracted as Senior Project Manager.
